Bridge cranes for general purposes
Bridge crane for general purposes consists of a bridge which is based on a rail track and travels on rail bridges (which are fixed on walls of a building).
Bridge cranes for general purposes (taking into consideration a type of their structure) are divided into single-beam & double-beam bridge cranes.
Double-beam bridge cranes consist of a bridge and one or two trolleys. The bridge of such a crane consists of two span beams which are connected with end beams. Box section beams are made of two vertical walls, upper and lower horizontal girths. A trolley rail with stoppers for limitation of extreme trolley positions is fixed on the upper girth of the span beam. Trolley maintenance platforms and maintenance platforms of travelling mechanisms are located on side walls of the span beams.
Bridge crane trolleys are intended for lifting and handling of the cargo along the span and they travel on rails which are fixed on the upper and lower girths.
Structure of double beam bridge cranes is located at essential height from the floor of loading platform area and completely overlays a working span. It allows free handling of staff and equipment in area under the crane and it also ensures implementation of cargo lifting procedures all over the width of the area.
Double beam bridge cranes are usually equipped with two individual lifting mechanisms (main and auxiliary) for lifting of small cargoes at higher speed. Mechanisms of the bridge crane carry out three movements in different directions: cargo lifting, trolley travelling and travelling of the bridge itself.
While making configuration of crane units we take into consideration Customer’s production process particulars as well as individual requirements indicated in crane technical specification.
During production of the bridge crane for general purposes we use components of leading manufactures and reliable suppliers.
