TEHNOROS has developed the possibility of manufacturing a reversible shunting winch

PO TEHNOROS has developed a new import-substituting model of reversible shunting winch with integrated cable tensioner.

The new electrohydraulic reversible winch with cable tensioner is designed for uninterrupted movement of railroad cars and tanks during loading and unloading operations. The device allows one operator to control loading, unloading and moving of up to 24 railroad cars.

Principle of operation and advantages:

The winch is a reversible traction mechanism that uses a closed rope traction system. This allows to significantly increase the efficiency and safety of shunting operations on railway tracks. 

The device is equipped with a continuous rope that moves cars in both directions.

Reversible winch systems for moving railroad cars and tank cars can be adapted to different track layouts and different operating conditions. One winch is capable of handling up to four tracks.

The equipment can be used both at large industrial enterprises and at bulk cargo transfer stations.
