TEHNOROS has completed the delivery of two portal cranes "Zubr" for Norilsk Nickel PJSC

Two new Zubr-770 portal cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 45 tonnes (in hook mode) will be operated in the port of Dudinka of the Polar Transport Branch of MMC Norilsk Nickel.

Both cranes will be used for transshipment of bulk and tare-unit cargoes, for work with an automatic spreader, and for transporting people in a special cradle.

The cranes are designed for operation in climatic region with cold climate and are manufactured in HL version of placement category 1 according to GOST 15150-69 for operation at ambient air temperature from -45°C to +40°C. The design of the cranes provides a heating system for gearboxes and electric motors of all mechanisms, controlled automatically by temperature sensor signals. Electrical connection between the crane parts is carried out through the current collector equipped with anti-condensation heating.

The precise load positioning system realised in this crane model guarantees minimum amplitude of load swaying during movement and precise positioning of the load.

The cranes provide a capacity of about 600 tonnes/hour when working in grapple mode. High productivity is also ensured when working with containers.
