Rotary wagon tippler (VRS-75)
When operating with cargoes, which allow open storage method, the technology of wagon unloading fundamentally changes, hence the structure of wagon discharge station changes as well. As for transportation of such type of cargoes open wagons are used, for its discharge they apply rotary or side wagon tipplers or mobile complexes, based on traverse for wagon dumping.
The rotary wagon tipplers of VRS-75 type have a rotor rotated on 175 degrees about longitudinal axis. The unloading is performed into an underground receiving bin. The wagon tippler should operate together with an electric trolley - pusher and a positioner.
Operating principle:
The loaded open wagons are set on a platform inside a wagon tippler rotor and fixed inside. Then the wagon tippler makes a revolution around longitudinal axis, as a result of which a load gets on the lattice of the receiving bin. After unloading, the empty open wagon is pushed from the wagon tippler and then the following wagon moves.
